Mt. Healthy High School hosted the Annual Chalk Drawing Contest in the front high school parking lot. Students from various grade levels came together to participate in this creative event.
Before the contest, students engaged in discussions to select a theme for their drawings. After careful consideration, they decided on the theme "Wonders of the World."
The event kicked off with students checking into their homerooms and eating breakfast before meeting in the parking lot. From 8:00 am to 1:30 pm, the parking lot became a canvas as students transformed their assigned parking spaces into colorful and intricate chalk masterpieces.
Throughout the day, the school community supported the young artists. Staff members and fellow students visited the parking lot, to view each team’s creations. To encourage collaboration and teamwork, high school students formed teams of 2 to 4 members. Working together allowed them to combine their unique skills and ideas, resulting in even more impressive artwork.
In recognition of their outstanding work, the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place teams were awarded prize money. The Annual Chalk Drawing Contest at Mt. Healthy City Schools showcased the artistic abilities of the students and provided a platform for students to express their creativity, foster teamwork, and depict the beauty of the world's wonders.
