Born and raised in Madeira, Ohio, Mrs. Riemenschneider attended Madeira High School, where she made her mark as a star athlete. Throughout her high school career, she played 4 years of varsity volleyball, 3 years of varsity softball, and 4 years of varsity basketball. She was a force to be reckoned with on the court, earning her a spot in the Madeira Athletic Hall of Fame, where she was inducted in 2004. Not only was she a skilled player, but she was also a top scorer, reaching the impressive milestone of 1000 points. She went even further by becoming the only women's player to have 1000 rebounds at Madeira. In recognition of her achievements, she was named to the Ohio Second Team All-State.
After graduating from Madeira High School, she received a scholarship to play basketball at Cleveland State University. There, she continued to impress with her skills and dedication to the sport. She earned a degree in Elementary Education, which would serve her well in her career at Mt. Healthy City School District.
Mrs. Reimendschneider spent her entire career at Mt. Healthy, where she held various positions. She started out as a teacher and taught for 18 years. During this time, she also coached the Mt. Healthy Varsity Volleyball team for 5 years, leading them to the conference championships in both 2003 and 2005 while also being named coach of the year in both seasons. She also continued her coaching career by coaching the junior high and JV women's basketball teams for 2 years.
She later moved on to administrative roles, serving for 4 years as an administrator and is on her second year as an athletic director. Throughout her career, Mrs. Riemenschneider proved to be a valuable member of the education and sports communities. Her dedication to her students and players, as well as her passion for sports, made her a respected figure in Mt. Healthy. Her impressive achievements in high school and college, as well as her successful coaching and administrative career, have solidified her legacy as an outstanding athlete and educator.
